Coming in 2010

A selection of inexpensive Caribbean destinations and affordable Zanzibar accommodations will kick off another year of posts filled with high value travel ideas. Look for our monthly travel deals and discounts too.

Some other posts in the works:

• Destinations where you can swim in warm water and ski on snow—in the same day.

• Don’t want to ski on snow? We’ll list some cool (and perhaps surprising) alternative surfaces you can go downhill skiing on.

• A visit to communist-themed attractions in capitalist countries.

Our editorial calendar is also full with our usual array of posts about off-the-beaten-path sites, unusual hotels, amazing views and our favorite travel gear and gadgets.

Learn of all our travel posts as they are published by following us on Twitter, subscribing to our RSS feed, signing up to receive our posts by email (in the light blue box at the top right of every SCS travel page) or simply return back to our travel blog often.

Once explored a ruin like this in Greece as a kid on holiday and it was amazing fun…..
