Be A Guest Writer
Are you a private traveler with special insight into a destination, hotel, restaurant, museum, travel product or anything else travel-related that might make our readers go WOW? Do you have some writing chops?
If so, Spot Cool Stuff invites you to be a guest writer right here on our travel site.
Sadly, we can’t pay our guest writers anything. (We are struggling mightily to pay ourselves). However, guest writers will be credited for their work. And you’ll get a link (or two or three) to your website and your Twitter and/or Facebook page if you have one. And you’ll get preferential placement should we get to that point where we are able to hire writers. And you’ll get a lovely parting gift should we happen to come across any.
To get the ball rolling, before you start writing, please send a super-brief summary of your specific proposed post and link to your website (if applicable) to:

Also, check out some of the guest travel posts we’ve already published.

Tourist Boards & Travel-Related Companies
Note that guest posting is open only to individual travelers who don’t have a direct commercial interest in the content they provide.
If you work for a tourist board or a convention and visitors bureau, please see our tourist board page with more information about how we can work with you to spread the word about cool aspects of your destination.
Those representing a travel company, media outlet or purveyor of travel gear, please refer to our Partner With Us page. We love working with cool companies and have multiple methods of promoting your work.
